The Ministry of Interior has announced the arrest of a gang involved in forging documents for people applying for European visas. The gang was caught by the Residency Affairs Investigation Department in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Investigations revealed that the group changed job titles, faked employer details, and tampered with work permits, salaries, and bank statements to meet visa requirements set by some European embassies.
An Egyptian national, operating from outside Kuwait through a social media account, was found promoting these illegal services and encouraging people to apply for visas with fake documents.
Several members of the gang were arrested inside Kuwait, along with electronic devices and forged papers. All were handed over to the concerned legal authorities.
In coordination with Egyptian authorities, other members of the gang were also arrested in Egypt, and further legal steps are now underway.
