The Kuwait International Airport will handle 5.5 million passengers, both departing and arriving, over 105 days across 42,000 flights, Assistant Director of the General Administration of Airport Security, Brigadier General Badr Al-Shaya, anticipated. The “T1, T4, and T5,” has heightened its security and operations geared up for the travel season, he said.
Proactive seasonal procedures are being implemented to coordinate efforts among various operational agencies, and the immigration checks for travellers at Kuwait Airport take only 7 seconds, or a maximum of up to 20 seconds if the staff member is under training, he said.
