Last two years, I’ve finally returned
On the shores of the place, I’ve for long yearned.
So what pains of time have blurred my dream,
Where are the terrains that my memory has seen?
Kerala is rising with no hold
They are fusing the modern and the old.
Hawkers and Restaurants, Street Stalls and Malls
The new and the old are now dealing as pals.
Kerala has grown so quickly
Its culture is being condensed.
As tourism grows, hotels take up space
Let’s hope its culture isn’t lost in the race.
