Kala(Art) Kuwait announce “NIRAM 2024” Winners

Kala(Art) Kuwait has announced the winners of “NIRAM 2024” Children’s Day painting competition held on Friday, 6th December 2024 at Indian Community School, Khaitan, in association with American Tourister. The prize distribution ceremony will take place at Indian Community School, Khaitan on Friday, 10th January 2025 at 2:00 PM onwards.

Kala(Art) Kuwait proudly announce that this is the 20th consecutive year of NIRAM has been conducted on the occasion of Children’s Day, the birth day of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India. It is worthwhile to note that students of different nationalities from all 28 Indian Schools in Kuwait with the active participation of more than 3100 children in the competition. The School Managements as well as Indian Community including business establishments as sponsors have also voluntarily extended their entire support to this wonderful event.

Winners of Painting Competition titled “NIRAM 2024” have been adjudged by the well-known Artists Mr. Sasi Krishnan, Mr. Sunil Kulanada, Mr. Hari Chengannur, Mr. Mukundan Pzhanimal and Mr. Rajive appointed by the Executive Committee of “Kala(Art) Kuwait” and accordingly the Lists of Winners are being released by the organizers as follows:

Overall Championship: 1st Position- Indian Community School, Khaitan, 2nd Position – Indian Community School, Salmiya, 3rd Position- IES-Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Abbasiya.

C. Bhaskaran Memorial Trophy as a tribute to Late. Mr. C Bhaskaran, one of the founder and advisory board member of Kala (Art) Kuwait, won by Indian Community School, Khaitan, the school from which maximum numbers of students were participated in this event.

Group-A: Ist Prize- Aashka Yashpal Poojari, 1st Std, IES-Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Abbasiya, IInd Prize- Zayd Ibrahim Shaji, UKG, Indian Community School, Amman, and Mozhisikaran Dinakaran, 1st Std, Indian Community School, Khaitan, IIIrd Prize- Prarthana Neeraj Pillai, 1st Std, Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian private School, Ahmadi and Elsa Rose Sebastian, 1st Std, United International Indian School (UIIS-New).

Group-B: Ist Prize- Anika Murathuvilakathu Ajish, 2nd Std., Indian School of Excellence, IInd Prize- Sharvani Rohit Panchal, 3rd Std., Indian Community School, Salmiya and Ayisha Midha, 4th Std., Indian Community School, Khaitan, IIIrd Prize- Advik Pradeepkumar, 4th Std., New Gulf Indian School, Mahboula and Dhyan Krishna, 3rd Std., Smart Indian School, Kuwait.

Group-C: Ist Prize- Dimple Khatri, 7th Std., IES-Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Abbassiya, IInd Prize- Kaavya Ashutosh Panchal, 6th Std., Indian School of Excellence, IIIrd Prize- Sachin Kolanchi, 7th Std., Indian Community School, Salmiya and Daniel Sanju Paul, 7th Std., Indian Community School, Salmiya.

Group-D: Ist Prize- Gauri Krishna Ginu, 8th Std., Indian Community School, Amman, IInd Prize- Tiara D'cruz, 12th Std., Indian Community School, Khaitan and Jessica Mary Dias, 12th Std., Learners Own Academy, Abbassiya, IIIrd Prize- Keziah Thomas, 9th Std., Indian Community School, Khaitan.

Clay Sculpture: Ist Prize- Onega William, 12th Std., Indian Community School, Salmiya, IInd Prize- Jalaluddeen Akbar, 10th Std., IES-Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Abbassiya, IIIrd Prize- Akshay Rajesh, 10th Std., Indian Community School, Amman and Angela Anilson, 9th Std., Learners Own Academy, Abbassiya.

Open Canvas (for Parents & Guests): Ist Prize- Mrs. Anwesha Biswas, IInd Prize- Mrs. Mashida Manaf, IIIrd Prize- Mrs. Deepa Praveen Kumar.

The organizers announced that the entire winners list consisting 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 66 Merit Prizes as well as 254 Consolation Prizes (Total 345 Prizes) have already been forwarded to all participated Schools. The List may also be available at our website www.kalakuwait.net.

Kala(Art) Kuwait, highlights the exclusive prizes for the winners as first place with Gold Coin & gold medal, second place with silver medal and third place with bronze medal along with memento & certificate. Merit and Consolation prize winners also will have trophy & certificate.

Kala(Art) Kuwait has congratulated all the Winners and also thanked all the participants and the School Managements, Sponsors, all Indian Associations for their wholehearted support to make the event as a great success and well supported by Kuwait's English & Malayalam visual and print medias and Web Portals.
