KD 22 million to develop infrastructure at Jleeb Al-Shoyoukh

Kuwait Municipality Director General Ahmad Al-Manfouhi declared on Tuesday that KD 22 million (USD 72.5 million) have been earmarked to renovate infrastructure at the district of Jleeb Al-Shoyoukh.

Al-Manfouhi, in a statement he made after a team of the special commission tasked with examining the district conditions, said the group pin pointed defects in the region infrastructure. Conditions there "are unacceptable," he said.

He indicated that the area hosts unlicensed warehouses packed with food products, adding that they will be shut down and the products will be confiscated.

On the issue of the bachelors, he indicated that they cannot be moved out of the region unless the "bachelors towns" have been established -- alluding to the labor towns.

There have been grave offenses in this region such as stealing power cables, he added, affirming the high need for repairing the infrastructure in the district.

Its a good decision to do the same as soon as possible. Remove all workshops/painting shops etc. near to the Schools like Bhavans, Learners and residencial areas.
First to make proper Roads & Waste water management in and around Jleeb.
Need a good Govt. clinic instead of the old one with sufficient facilities.
Most of the (MOH & Private) nurses are staying in Jleeb, so the development in Jleeb area will reflect good signs in the health sector of Kuwait also.
Need an walking exercise area for the people staying inside Jleeb area. :)
