Its official: Four days holiday for New Year

The Council of Ministers, in its weekly meeting on Monday, November 20th decided to consider Sunday, December 31, 2023, a day of rest, and Monday, January 1, 2024, an official holiday for the New Year.

All Ministries, Government agencies and institutions will be suspended their work on December 31st and January 1st, it said.

All government agencies will have four days holiday for the New Year starting from Friday, December 29th to Monday, January 1st.
