Indulge in a luxurious weekend outing with your loved ones at Jamawar Salmiya

In the hustle and bustle of our busy office routines, we often forget to truly live and enjoy the moments that matter. The constant grind can leave us feeling drained and disconnected from what brings us joy. That’s why it’s essential to take a break once in a while and treat ourselves to a luxurious dining experience. Here is a perfect spot for you - Jamawar Indian Restaurant, located in the prestigious Holiday Inn & Suits Salmiya.

A luxury dining experience here at Jamawar Salmiya will transport you to the grandeur of Rajasthan. The restaurant features a curated collection of Rajasthani artifacts, including antique swords, traditional paintings, and sculptures , making it feel like you’ve arrived in the land of Maharajas - Rajasthan.

Our journey to this experience begins by scanning their QR code to explore their à la carte menu, which offers a wealth of temptations. Our meal began with Murgh Badami Shorba, a rich Almond and coriander flavored Chicken Soup and Sagar ka shorba, a southern coconut based seafood soup. The Chicken Soup was a great start to our culinary journey.

Then came the starters where they have a variety of Appetizers and Tandoors. We tried their Jingha 65 - Madrassi style deep fried prawns, bursting with flavour of chilli and curry leaves! It was an explosion of flavors, with the perfect blend of chili and curry leaves adding a spicy kick to every bite. A must try option!

We also tried Chilli garlic paneer - Tender cubes of cottage cheese tossed in a spicy and hot homemade garlic sauce, Jamawar Chicken Tikka and Jamawar tandoori shrimps. They also have quite a few options for vegetarians like Gobi tandoori, which was something unique as we don’t get in all restaurants. Starters were quite exotic. We just got indulged in delightful and succulent tandoori grills.

After the delicious starters I couldn't wait to have the main course. We enjoyed with assorted breads with their masterpiece Butter chicken. The Jhinga dum anari, with the succulent prawns stir fired and cooked in onion tomato tangy gravy with fresh pomegranate was an unforgettable dish for us!

Another masterpiece experience was their Chicken bamboo biryani! It was not only a feast for the senses, but also for the eyes. The way they serve it on your plate infused with the rich aroma of Indian spices, coconut, and curry leaves, it makes every bite irresistibly delicious.

Gulab Jamoon, Zaffrani Rasmalai and Gajar ka halwa was a great conclusion to our connoisseur delight.

Their culinary treat at Jamawar Salmiya is affordable for a family of four who can spend 20 to 30 KD for a once in a while experience of luxury dine out with your loved once. They also have an exclusive semi private cabin called ‘Maharaja Table’. This six seater Maharaja Table have dedicated staff and has its own set menu for 20 KD per person for a group of six. When the weather is good, you can also try the open air dinning facility at Jamawar.

With its combination of luxurious ambiance, diverse and flavorful menu, it offers a dining experience that is as regal as its name suggests. Whether you’re seeking an elegant night out or celebrating a special occasion, a relaxed and indulgent evening out at Jamawar in Salmiya Holiday Inn & Suits, surrounded by loved ones, allows you to unwind, recharge, and savor the finer things in life, reminding us that self-care and enjoyment are just as important as our daily responsibilities.
