More than 15 Indian companies are participated in the trade promotion event in Kuwait organised by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) in association with Indian Embassy in Kuwait and with the cooperation of Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) as part of the bilateral trade promotion in food and beverages sectors.
The buyer-seller meet was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Dr Adarsh Swaika at An Anoud hall in Hotel Grand Majestic, Kuwait City. Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) Director Mr. Ashok Sethi welcomed the attendees during the inaugural event, which was attended by large number of local food and beverage importers. Several food and Beverage exporters from India attended the Buyer-Seller meet. Indian Embassy Counsellor (Political & Commerce) Shri Sanjay K. Muluka, Vice Chairman of IBPC Kuwait Mr Kaizar Shakir were also present during the inauguration event.
"Kuwait is a very quality conscious market and Indian companies have lot of high quality niche products to offer," Ambassador Dr Adarsh Swaika said.
Various new products from India are being introduced during the Buyer-Seller meet. The Kuwaiti importers took good interest in these products.
Ambassador said that the Indian exporters who now offers good quality products and packaging to international standard would surely be able to find a market in Kuwait, which looks for high quality products.
