Indian Embassy suspended consular and OCI services

In view of the prevailing situation arising from COVID-19 pandemic, and in solidarity with Kuwait government’s efforts to contain the virus, Consular and OCI services at the Embassy of India, Kuwait, shall remain suspended temporarily, except emergency cases, until further notice.

For emergency cases of Consular and OCI services please send an email, explaining the emergency with all the relevant documents, to [email protected] or contact on telephone numbers 22530600, 22530612 Ext. 273. Embassy officials will revert on such cases at the earliest.

Mohammad Aslam Tuesday, April 7, 2020 Dear Sir Are they renewing passports. As my residency will expire on May 01. To renew residency the validity of the passport must be one year I am calling the agency in Fahaheel but no response.. Regards
Somu Sunday, April 5, 2020 What instructions do you require? The news item about amnesty was very clear. You need to go to Mishref with your luggage between Apr 11 to 15. Embassy officials will be available there to provide emergency certificates if required.
Rajest Sunday, April 5, 2020 Ours is the best embassy!!! There is amnesty scheme started by Kuwait. But embassy till date didn''''t issued any advisory or instructions for Indians. There are many Indians who got stuck with expired akkama due to the present crisis, even for visit visa holders. But Our embassy is not issued any statement or instructions for them. Suddenly Embassy closed from today morning without informing anyone! and by afternoon, they informed that through their twitter and evening only it is informed on IIK!! What an Embassy sir!
