If you do not handover passport, company will say don''t work for us. Will embassy give us job in such situation? It is easy to put put such advisory on paper. Reality is different. Embassy officials should know that employers keep passport of employees and no one can do anything. Everyone know what the passport rules are but have no choice if they want to survive in the job. So this statement from embassy is ridiculous.

Respected indian Ambassador in kuwait just published Advisory is fulfilled formality only. Its doesn''t sense that to published Advisory for nothing. Must be implement strongly. Because many companies are holding passport of employees. Its Yours responsibility to check with companies administration and ensure they didn''t hold passport of any indian employees. Thank you.

Dear Indian Embassy ,

Most of the companies in q8 keep passport of their employees with them, what will u do if the company doesnt want to allow their employees to keep their passport with them ? Can you advise the MOI/Shoun to check all companies one by one who are retaining their employees passport and to take action over such companies ?

Too bad it''s only on papers.
98% of the employers don''t really care about such advises.
