Indian Central School - Virtual Assembly-Grandparents

“Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do, they sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children.”- Alex Haley

Grandparents are always a source of happiness in every household. Often we have seen that grandparents are more protecting and caring of young children. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart.

In keeping with this, the KG wing of Indian Central School, Kuwait, hosted a special assembly to mark the Celebration of the Greatness of Grandparents in the 2nd week of September, as the tiny tots celebrated and honored the accomplishments and contributions of the greater parents in their lives.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by the assembly protocol of National Anthems and prayers. The young children dedicated songs and poems to their loving grandparents many of who attended the virtual assembly and blessed all the students with their love and warm wishes. A special dedication song by the school was echoed in all of the virtual kindergarten classrooms.

Dr Shantha Maria, Principal of ICS sent a beautiful message to the KG students explaining the beauty of this unique relation which every child has with ones’ grandparent. Mrs. Amarjit Kaur, Vice Principal of KG visited all of the classrooms and wished each child and grandparent the joy of the day.

The grandparents lauded the efforts of Indian Central School and its dedicated teachers in reviving moral values of the society into the little kindergartners for bringing about a positive change in the outlook of the young minds to realize the importance of relations and the elderly.
