
As Kuwait witness gradual rise in temperature, the electricity load index has started to move upward, surpassing
the steady consumption rate of 7,000 megawatts or slightly more than the past three months, and recently crossing the 8,000-megawatt threshold.
According to reports, the electricity load index is now on an upward trajectory; with record demand anticipated during the peak summer months. Sources added that the ministry is working at full capacity to complete scheduled maintenance on electricity generation and water distillation units before the summer season.
