IDAK conducts Meet and Greet 2020

The Indian Dentists Alliance in Kuwait held its first official program of the calendar year 2020, Meet and Greet, on 7th February at Grand Majestic Hotel, Kuwait City.

The meeting started graciously in the true Indian traditional style of lighting the lamp by the past presidents of IDAK. In his presidential address, Dr Rajesh Alexander mentioned the strong belief of the present term in office 2020-21 as “Unity in Integrity”, creating a platform where the new members who have joined IDAK would whole heartily help along with core executive team. Vice President Dr.Prashanthy R Prasad delivered the welcome speech. General secretary Dr.Jacob Lonappan outlined the road map for next two years. Joint Secretary Dr.Ranjitha R S outlined the interest survey and motivated the members to come up with their unique talents.

The MC’s of the event Dr Devipriya and Dr Pramod Menon introduced the new executive team members. Sports committee Chairman Dr. Ashwin Sudhesh presented the plan of sports events and division of teams. Flags of the respective teams were given to the Captains, Dr. Roy Francis, Dr. Bobby Joseph and Dr. Rino Roy. Farewell mementos were given to Dr. Gincy Varghese, Dr. Santhosh Uppoor and Dr. Garima Soni for valuable service for IDAK by. Dr. Shaheer Malik and Dr. Thomas Thomas respectively.

Treasurer Dr.Ajay Vazhiyodan and Membership committee Chairman Dr.Shibu George together welcomed the new members and presented them with the welcome kit.

Cultural events and games organized by Cultural Committee headed by Dr. Sangeeta Scharia made the evening lively. A magic show was also conducted for children of couple members. Dr.Nikhila and Dr. Devu took care of the children and kept them occupied.

The beautiful moments of the event were well captured by Dr Biju Mahadev and Dr Rino Roy.

President Elect Dr Thomas Thomas addressed the audience, and provided information regarding licencing procedures followed by vote of thanks by first Joint secretary Dr Jagan Baskaradoss.

This was organized to perfection by the cultural committee, event management Committee, membership Committee and sports Committee led by Dr.Sangeetha Scharia, Dr. Vinod Sam, Dr Shibu Thomas and Dr Ashwin Sudheesh respectively. The event concluded with a buffet dinner.
