The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Kuwait Chapter conducted webinar on Role of Spirituality in Attaining work life balance on 15th August 2020 for the benefit of its member.
The webinar began with salutation to Indian flag, marking the 74th Independence Day of India. CA Sriram Gopalakrishnan, Secretary ICAI Kuwait chapter, welcomed all the attendees and briefed them about upcoming events. He encouraged members to participate in the ongoing writing competition as well as contribute articles for the quarterly e-newsletter – “Jagruti”.
CA Sriram then elaborated on the seminar topic – work life balance, which can be compared to a chronic disease, magnitude of which depends on the industry in which one works. He then introduced the speaker Aruna Ladva, an author, a blogger, and a medication teacher practicing for over 37 years.
Aruna Ladva, explained the importance of law of spirituality to attain happiness and peace in life. She cited lot of examples from real life scenarios to explain various concepts of spirituality. The key takeaway message was – “Raise your words and not the voice, for it is the rains that grows flower and not the thunder. “
The session was well received by the audience. The event was concluded with Vote of Thanks by CA Deepak Bindal.
