Huge material loss reported at Al-Rai fire

Firefighters from nine stations controlled a huge blaze, which erupted in an area of 10,000 square meters at Al-Rai industrial area early morning Thursday.

Head of Public Relations and Media at Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) Brigadier General Khalil Al-Amir told that the blaze was covering eight industrial blocks.

Huge material losses is reported due to the fire, but fortunately no human casualties reported so far. An investigation was opened to find out the causes that led to the fire.

KFSD already said fire started deliberately...
Means end of year stock..no sales... claim insurance sitting at home... heehee...
most of the fires in industrial areas happen only in december.. good point to think about..

Yes this is cent present correct. In Kuwait consultant''s RE, Engineers are
decided by the contracting company managers. These people approve what ever these contractors submit for approval, generally substandard materials are submitted for approval, Specifications were
never followed. Every point t there is cheating. These is more prevalent in road and bridge projects.

In Kuwait many projects are executed by unqualified personnel, all other GCC countries there are exams for the technicians and in Kuwait no such practices and better to have same here too.
