The Ministry of Health in Kuwait has taken strict action against 12 private pharmacies for breaking the rules related to how pharmacies should operate and how medicines are handled. Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Al-Awadhi has ordered that these pharmacies be closed, their licenses canceled, and the cases referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action.
This decision was made to stop any misuse in the pharmacy market and to protect the safety of medicines being sold. The action was taken in cooperation with the Ministries of Interior and Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, Kuwait Municipality, and the Public Authority for Manpower. The move shows a strong commitment to enforcing pharmacy laws and ensuring public health.
