The General Department of Criminal Investigation, represented by the Criminal Investigation and Licensing Department, arrest four people, one of whom is an Asian taxi driver, for smuggling female domestic workers from their sponsors’ homes.
The move was to take the domestic workers from sponsors home and re-employ them outside on hourly basis in violation of the law.
They were referred to the competent authority to take the necessary legal measures against them.
