The Criminal Security department arrested a four-member gang involved in the trafficking of imported alcoholic beverages and psychotropic substances across the country.
The Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday that after verifying the information received and obtaining legal permission from the Public Prosecution, the suspects—two citizens, a Saudi, and an Indian—were arrested. They were found in possession of 919 bottles of imported alcoholic beverages and 200 psychotropic tablets.
The accused and the seized items were referred to the Drugs and Alcohol Prosecution Office to take legal action against them.
