First Indian psychiatrist Joins in Kuwait

For the first time in Kuwait, an Indian psychiatrist joins a private Healthcare center in Salmiya, providing an opportunity for the Indian community members who seeks such counselling.

Eminent psychiatrist Dr. Neetu Mariam Chacko has taken charge as the first Indian psychiatrist in the private sector in Kuwait. Dr. Neethu Mariam Chacko has officially taken charge as a specialist psychiatrist at Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Clinic in Salmiya, Kuwait.

Dr Neethu is a dedicated psychiatrist with extensive experience in depressive disorders, sleep disorders, and mood disorders. She has undergone specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry, counselling, and smoking cessation therapy.

With a strong clinical background, she served as a Consultant Psychiatrist at leading healthcare institutions in India. She has extensive experience in treating schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders and takes a patient-centered approach to mental health care.

She will certainly be helpful to those who need treatment and care, especially those who need to be treated with great importance, such as attention deficit disorder in school children, and those who need counselling. The service provided by combining philanthropy, expertise, and the help of health science will be of great support socially and healthily.
