Few expatriates sent back from the airport for not following new travel procedures

On the first day of the entry of vaccinated expatriates to Kuwait, airport authorities denied entry for few expatriates coming from London for not following the new travel procedures, Al-Qabas Arabic daily reported.

According to Al-Qabas report, few expatriates failed to get green color status in their "Immune" app was denied entry to Kuwait and returned back to the country of origin.

Despite having obtained the two doses of the vaccine approved in the State of Kuwait, the passengers had not received approval from Ministry of Health website and the status on their Immune app was not green.

According to new travel procedure, expatriates must upload their vaccine certificate on MoH portal and wait for their approval to get green color status on Immune app, Then registering on the “Shlonak” application and the “Kuwait Musafer” platform, before their arrival in the country.

Al those yet not received approval of certificate from abroad, if you have anyone in Kuwait who can go on your behalf with your final vaccine 2 doses CoviShield single pdf copy along with civil id copy to sabah hospital area near NBK Bank, right on its opposite there is a MOH building, go to 2nd floor and present there. within 5 minutes it will get approved.

Waiting for almost 2 months to get the green banner on the Moh app. When would it get approved as my visa is also nearing to the expiry date..
