Farwaniya Municipality lifts 111 abandoned cars

The General Cleanliness and Road Works Department of Farwaniya Municipality carried out field inspections in the residential areas of Ardiya, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Farwaniyah and Khaitan and lifted 111 abandoned vehicles and heavy equipment.

The Director of the General Cleanliness and Road Works Department of the Farwaniya Municipality Branch, Saad Al-Khurainj, said that the team will continues its field tours to remove all cars and heavy equipment from the open yards in all areas of the governorate and will install temporary earth mounds to prevent the parking of cars and heavy equipment in the open areas.

The field tours will continue in all areas of Farwaniya Governorate to clean open yards. Legal measures will be taken against the owners before removing the cars, authorities informed.

@ ABC you are 100% correct. Salmiya needs this badly.
Wish there was site where we could upload addresses of abandoned vehicles.
We could help in the cleanup effort.
