The Kerala chapter of the Forum of CAD Users (FOCUS Kuwait), an organization established by Malayali professionals in the engineering and design sector in Kuwait with the vision of making CAD education universally accessible, has been officially formed. This new chapter brings together former members of FOCUS who have returned to Kerala from Kuwait.

The inaugural meeting was held at the Haveli Resort auditorium in Alappuzha, presided over by FOCUS Kuwait President Mr. S. Ratheesh Kumar. The session was inaugurated by Mr. Sam Daniel Pynummod, former member of the Loka Kerala Sabha, cultural activist, and a longstanding member of FOCUS.

Mr. Muralee S. Nair delivered the welcome address. Mr. Saveen Chandra, President of Lensfed Alappuzha Area, and Mr. Mathew Thomas, General Secretary, conveyed their best wishes to the newly formed chapter.

Former Presidents Mr. Thomas Chandy, Mr. Salimraj, Mr. Babukutty K. Mathew, Mr. Sasi Thopson, and Mr. Sam Painumood were honored with ceremonial shawls for their contributions. The proposed framework for the new organization's activities was presented by Mr. Salim Raj.

Participants in the interactive session included Mr. Thomas Chandy, Mr. Sasi Thopson, Mr. Babukutti K. Mathew, Mr. Mukesh Karayil, Mr. Salim M.N., Mr. Joseph M.T., Mr. Prasannakumar, Mr. Gopakumar, and Mr. Abdul Raheem Khan. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Bindu Santhosh.

An ad-hoc committee was formed, incorporating current office bearers of FOCUS Kuwait, and an advisory council was constituted with the following members:
