FAIPS Secured First Position for the 7th Consecutive Year in Inter School Nukkad Natak Competition Organised Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (IES)

In commemoration of World Hindi Day, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (IES) organised an Inter School Nukkad Natak competition on 9th January, 2020. The competition was organised to showcase the students’ talent and creativity. Among the six schools that participated in this competition, FAIPS students out performed other contestants and secured first position for the 7th consecutive year, which is a testimony to their commendable acting prowess.

The topic for the event was ‘Aaj Ka Insaan Social Media Ka Gulam’. The students of Grades 7 and 8 of FAIPS-DPS participated in this programme. The students highlighted the different aspects of social media and its influence on the present generation. They performed scenes that depicted the enslavement of today’s youth to social media. The act served to spread awareness among parents, teachers and the society as a whole about the growing influence of social media on the younger generation. The play was both entertaining as well as educative.

It is a moment of pride and honour for FAIPS as the school has been bagging the first place in Nukkad Natak for the past 7 years. The collaborative efforts and hard work of the teachers and students were evident, as the students performed brilliantly, casting a spell on the audience. FAIPS students received another round of accolades in the Hindi Story Telling Competition in which students of Grades 3 and 4 competed with other schools to clinch the First and Third position respectively.

Kudos to the Hindi Department, the students and to the Principal for his whole-hearted support and encouragement.
