FAIPS (DPS) Students Attended Chartered Accountancy Seminar

FAIPS (DPS) organized a seminar on Chartered Accountancy for the commerce students of classes 11 and 12, in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) - Kuwait Chapter on Thursday, 5th December, 2019, during school hours. The session was organized through the initiative of Mr. Arun Choudhary, CFO Al Rayan Holding Co., Mr. Santhosh Kumar, General Manager, Al Hasawi Group, Mr. Prashantha Shetty, Director, TECPRAXIS were the professionals who presented the session.

Mr. Sai V.S. Devata, Chairman of ICAI Kuwait chapter spoke about collaboration of CAs in Kuwait while Ms. Kriti Buchasia, Financial Reporting Senior Specialist shared her personal experience about completion of course and job opportunities. The seminar was conducted with the aim of providing the students the required knowledge pertaining to the Chartered Accountancy course, to enable them to grow as competent professionals.

The seminar covered topics such as the powers of a CA, their role in various aspects of the society, the scope of growth in this profession and various levels of CA course. The students were inspired by the stories of the people who set a benchmark by clearing the CA course at a very young age. The session came to end with vote of thanks, Ms. Bhavya Ramesh (Director Commerce) expressing gratitude to the ICAI- Kuwait Chapter faculty, the Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, Vice Principal Ms. Bandana Lazarus and the department of commerce of FAIPS (DPS) for providing an enriching learning experience to them.
