Enjoy the festivities while respecting the law - Strict check on national day celebrations

Authorities urged citizens and residents to enjoy the festivities while respecting the law as they finalise the security plan for upcoming national celebrations.

Places such as Khairan, Wafra, Kabd, Subiya, Jaber Bridge, Abdali Farms, and Arabian Gulf Street will be secured as part of the security measures to ensure safety and security of the people. Authorities emphasized that any form of traffic obstruction will be strictly prohibited.

Authorities are expected to deploy 8000 police officers including women and 900 patrol vehicles to secure the street during the celebration.

Additionally, spraying water, foam, or similar substances will not be allowed to maintain order and preserve the festive spirit. Violators will face legal consequences, including vehicle towing, impoundment, and fines.
