The Al-Ajari Scientific Center said that the Eid al-Adha will be on Friday, June 6, 2025, based on astronomical calculations. According to the Center, the crescent of Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH will appear on Wednesday, May 28, marking the start of the Islamic month. The Day of Arafah is expected to fall on Thursday, June 5.
The Center explained that the crescent moon will be born following the conjunction at dawn on Tuesday, May 27, and will be visible after sunset the same day. In Kuwait, the crescent will remain in the sky for approximately 43 minutes, while it will be visible for 40 to 58 minutes in other Arab and Islamic capitals. These astronomical findings firmly indicate that Muslims around the world will celebrate Eid al-Adha on June 6, 2025.
