Since there is no clear information re. renewing drivers license for expats I just want expats to know that Marina Mall is allowing expats to renew their drivers license, a few were turned away to the Al Nasser Sports Club but give it a try.

The previous day I was at The Avenues and was told by staff to go somewhere else... (no clear directions were given and wrong opening times were provided). Fellow expats left The Avenues not knowing what was said. Later I was told by another expat to go to the Al Nasser Sports Club.

When I arrived at the sports club there was no way to enter or park the car. There was no sign or timings posted. A security guard yelled at us and provided no information. Fellow expats were standing in the sun trying to get answers to no avail. No one knew if they were in the right place.

While leaving, a car came my way being driven by a local, I asked if they knew where to go and what were the times of operation. I believe he said the Sports Club is open from 8am to 2pm (I communicated this to the other expats). I''m offering this info. in hopes that it helps fellow expats. It was disheartening to see expats stranded in the heat with no access to transportation. I was told by a few that they had been coming for a few days after being turned away at the malls. Expats need to be treated better especially during this time - actually all of humanity must be respected at all times.

Wishing you all success in your endeavors.

Expats are worse than aliens - they will suck the life out of any system, esp. us Indians. Kuwait knows if you help one expat, 1-million will come even if they don''t need it. You can demand fairness and justice in your country, though I doubt you will get it. Best to stay on quietly if you want to stay.

It is extremely unfair and unjust. Even I went this morning to Avenues Mall and said it is only for Kuwaitis. Even though there was no queue or Kuwaitis waiting, the EXPATS weren''t allowed to use the machines to collect the renewed driving license. And the way the expats are treated to get out of that place, got to think - are expats aliens or not humans.
