As the country is witnessing the delta variant of Corona virus, the sources indicated that opening up of entry of expatriates to the country will again delayed.

Large number of expatriates are waiting for the decision to open the country to allow them to return, however the discovery of 'Delta' variant would again postpone this decision, local reports indicate.

The Corona Emergency Committee is expected to submit a comprehensive report on the mutated “Delta” virus to the Council of Ministers today, which will be discuss in the cabinet meeting on Thursday.

Extending the opening hours of restaurants and commercial complexes till 11 pm is also expected to be discussed in the meeting.
