Kuwaiti astronomer and head of the Kuwaiti Astronomical Society, Adel Al-Saadoun, said that the day and night will be of equal length on the 16th of March in Kuwait. This, equinox, will be applicable to all countries that are on the same latitude, he said.
Al-Saadoun added that the sun rises at 05:57 in the morning and sets at 05:57 in the evening, and the length of the day is 12 hours and the length of the night is 12 hours.
He explained that after that the day will be prolonged at the expense of the night.
He pointed out that every country has its own equal day, which differs from country to country according to its location on the equator circle.
