The Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued a circular to airlines specifying the new procedures that will be implemented as of August 1.

The circular stipulates that citizens who are not immunized with two doses of the Corona vaccine are not allowed to travel.

The circular pointed out that the home quarantine for a week is applied to all immunized travelers for a week from the date of their arrival in Kuwait, and if they wish to end the quarantine, they can conduct one PCR examination after reaching Kuwait and if the result is negative, they can end their quarantine.

According to the circular, Citizens are not allowed to travel outside Kuwait without vaccination and Immune or Kuwait Mobile app shows in green color. Exceptions are for those who have special permission that they are exempted from taking vaccine for various reason such as pregnant ladies, aged people etc.

For incoming citizen, a negative (PCR) certificate valid for 72 hours is mandatory.

The uploaded certificate must be approved before travel. The vaccination must be verified electronically before boarding the plane and upon arrival in Kuwait through checking the QR code. All are subject to home quarantine for a week from the date of their arrival in the State of Kuwait. They should register in Shlonik and Kuwait Mosafar app before travel.

Meanwhile the circular did not mention anything about opening of direct flights from India.
