The Customs officers at the Shuwaikh Port seized a 40-foot container coming from an Asian country, containing a large quantity of liquor secretly hidden inside the container.
The contraband was declared as household furniture as per record, however during the examination, the officials discovered approximately 12,000 bottles of liquor of 6 different brands.
All necessary customs procedures were taken and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities.
