The Ministry of Commerce and Industry clarified that customers have the legal right to return or exchange items under Consumer Protection Law No. 39 of 2014. This right remains valid even during store promotions and discounts.
However, returns must follow the conditions agreed upon at the time of purchase. Customers must also return any benefits received with the product, such as discount coupons, raffle entries, or special offers, to get a refund, local Arabic daily Al Rai reported.
