The Civil Defense Committee held a coordination meeting on Monday to discuss the preparations and readiness of the state ministries to face the torrential rainy season.

The department of security media at the Ministry of Interior said in a press release that the meeting discussed the works required to be implemented to deal with the rainy season, deployment plans, the readiness of the relevant agencies, and the speed of their response to face all emergency conditions caused by rain.

They also discussed media awareness plans, mechanisms of communication with the public, handling mechanisms, and steps followed in the dissemination of reports and classification in terms of emergency incidents and dealing with them through the operating room.
