Citizen died as flying manhole cover hits vehicle

A 19-year-old Kuwaiti citizen, Ali Al Balushi, was killed by a flying manhole cover on Fahaheel road today. He suffered fatal injuries when the metal cover of the manhole crashed through his windshield and caused to hit another vehicle on the road.

The security men and paramedics rushed to the spot and authorities started investigation on the incident.

Periodic checks on the manhole and the drain covers is often completely ignored...From the photo looks like he part is broken which must have flown. 2. Although not victim''s fault but fast speeding car also must have contributed equally resulting in such misfortune.
