Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for National Assembly Aairs Ali Al-Omair opened yesterday the central part of Al-Jahra Road. During a groundbreaking ceremony, the minister said in a press statement that the road, once completed, would be a very vital part of Kuwait•s highway network. He appreciated the eorts of the ministry, the contractor and the advisory body in the completion of the project, hoping that the remaining parts of the highway would be nished in the near future.

The minister vowed that Al-Jahra Road and other construction projects would be completed as scheduled. Meanwhile, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works Engineer Awatef Al-Ghuneim said the central part of AlJahra Road consists of three bridges and the project completion rate hit 92 percent. She pointed out that the remaining part of the highway would be launched by September 2016.
