A building collapsed during the demolition process in the Al-Shaab Al-Bahri area on Sunday afternoon. Firefighting teams and the Search and Rescue teams from Salmiya intervened to deal with accident and the rubble was removed and search and inspection operations were conducted to ensure that there were no people trapped under the rubble.
The administration confirmed that the accident did not result in any significant injuries, and the site was handed over to the competent authorities to take the necessary measures.
