Warrier, a noted columnist in the mainstream media at India, who was here at Kuwait last week for addressing students at the United Indian School, Abbassiya. Every parent wants their kid cater the level he couldn’t attain. They make their dreams come true with their children. So kids will either become an engineer or a doctor. They don’t realise the ability and the skill of their kids and they even try to copy others.
People with more digital experience are out of the digital divide and they have more advantage over the others. The parents with more experience, reading and otherwise, know the value of courses and nurture the skills of their children. He opines that they recognise the importance of developing the career of their kids, adding to their talent.
Many students learn engineering, either due to parental pressures or social pressures. The engineering colleges are mushrooming, especially in south India. Those colleges don’t produce original engineers. While, the seats offered at medical colleges are too less, and so the students join after paying high capitation fee. The doctors that come out from these professional organisations are not committed and they work for money, he tells IIK.

''Now I write for 'The Hindu' and the Malayalam daily the 'Malayala Manorama, and occasionally in some globally acclaimed media''.
He is graduated in Electrical engineering at the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram in 1958. Basically from Thiruvananthapuram, he is now settled in Cochin.He is acclaimed by the various institutions and the government. Science Journalism award of Kerala Government (1993), Kavyavedi award (2004), and more were conferred for his service to the society. And now he is identified with the word 'career guidance'.
