The Public Authority for Civil Information on Thursday urged citizens and expatriates to shun phone calls by anonymous persons pretending to be PACI personnel and requesting personal data.

PACI does not request such data by phone, it said in statement.

Humanity Sunday, June 4, 2023 Now a days some people are using the code starting from +234 and asking bank details mentioning we are from Bank & your pin is blocked and kindly send us the OTP # , if we refused they will start bad words and disconnect the calls, MOI should block such country code specially African Countries to use the whats up and other apps.
cd Saturday, June 3, 2023 Even MOI calls are so frequent now a days we cant suspect... i had call from number #######4 , at last asking for OTP which came in my mobile, when i said no i cant share OTP, they shouted we are not transferring your bank details etc, and cut the call. This so dangerous … Please beware.
