Ban on 31 countries to continue; No request to bring expat workers from any ministries

The Supreme Committee for the Restoration of Commercial Flights at Kuwait International Airport held a meeting yesterday to review the procedures for flights operations.

According to the report, the meeting did not discuss the return of residents from abroad, especially doctors, engineers, judges, and other experts and technicians. Sources confirmed that the agencies operating at the airport did not receive any requests from the government agencies to bring back foreign employees working in the state ministries who are abroad.

The source confirmed that the return of expatriates is a decision that is subject to the approval of the health authorities. Until yesterday, no new requests were received by government agencies or the Ministry of Health for the return of some of its foreign employees.

The source also confirmed that no directives were received from the health authorities to add or cancel countries to the list of 31 countries banned from entering the country.

The meeting discussed the evaluation of operational procedures with government agencies after the return of commercial flights, explaining that the air traffic is running smoothly and regularly without any obstacles.

Until expat numbers reduce significantly, respective country ban will continue. At least, I would do it that way. Without reducing, no allowing entry.
