
In a large-scale security inspection campaign in the Jleeb Al Shuyoukh area, authorities shut down around 40 unlicensed commercial establishments and arrested 147 individuals for various violations.
The joint operation was carried out under the direct supervision of Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, with the coordinated efforts of the Kuwait Fire Force, Kuwait Municipality, Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Public Works, Environment Public Authority, and the Public Authority for Manpower.
As a result of the campaign, electricity was disconnected from 40 properties found in violation, and 89 citations were issued for unlicensed commercial activities. In addition, 117 individuals were arrested for violating residency and labor laws and referred to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.
The crackdown aimed to ensure public safety by eliminating unauthorized activities in residential neighborhoods and reducing the risk posed by such violations.
