With the implementation of mandatory payment of all dues before travel, nearly KD 4.077 million has been collected at air and land ports from GCC nationals and expats departing the country.
This include over KD 1 million in traffic fines and approximately KD 2.936 million in electricity and water bills (from Sept 1 to 23).
In this, around KD 841,015 was collected from 11,230 violations involving vehicles owned by GCC citizens
These figures is exclusively from traffic violations and utility bills and do not include bills from the communications or justice ministries.
