
Around 150,000 expatriates are yet to register their biometric finger print, while the number of citizens who did not take the fingerprint reached 16,000, and the number of illegal residents reached 70,000.
According to local daily Al-Anba that the centers located across the 6 governorates are still receiving citizens and residents to take the biometric fingerprint.
Security source praised the citizens and residents who were committed to taking the biometric fingerprint, which is one of the major projects that contribute significantly to developing work and completing transactions for citizens and residents.
Biometric fingerprints is considered a state project to maintain security, eliminate passport forgery, arrest wanted persons, and help in tracking down perpetrators of crimes, in addition to establishing a secure electronic information bank for all who enter Kuwait.
