Al Tayer and Luxury travels announce the second phase of charter flights to India

Al Tayer group along with Luxury travels announces their second stage of repatriation flights to India from July 14th. “Our next phase of operations of Chartered flights to India will start from July 14th with several destinations including Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai,” Mr Fahed Al Baker, Chairman of Al Tayer Travels and Al Baker Group said.

Around 1250 Indian passengers travelled during their first phase of the operation to various airports in India from Kuwait. “We are very much thankful to all our passengers and those who supported us,” Mr Fahad said. During the first phase from June 25th to July 4th, the group had operated charter flights to Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

As per the second stage, Al Tayer and Luxury travels will operate charter flights to Delhi and Chennai on July 14th, Hyderabad on July 17th and Mumbai on July 18th. They are also operating three flights to Vijayawada, which is already full. Charter flights are also planned to Kochi on 20th. “We are also planning for charter flights to selected Indian airports where no other service is available. Any Association/corporates or companies are also welcome if they have any repatriation requirement to any specific airport,” Mr Bobby Thomas - Operations Manager, Luxury Travel said.

Al Tayer Group, which operated several charter flights to India is also operating charter flights to Manila in the Philippines.

“We are also thankful to the Indian Embassy, all state authorities in India and Kuwait Airways for successfully completing the first phase of our charter flights to India, Al Tayer group informed.

Dear Team,
I am Devendra Kumar Singh an Indian National.I came to visit visa for on 27th Feb 2020 for 1 month but due to Covid outbreak I happened to be stuck in Kuwait.
I am only child of my parents and my father suddenly expired on Friday(10/06/2020) , I do not know how to go back,
My family lives in gurgaon. Please let me know if there is any way to go to Delhi- India,

I am sorry to take your time but I request you to please guide me if there is any way you can help.

In light of revised procedure for operating international flights during lockdown/ closure of Indian air space (link below), process is not going to be easy.
Even USA has restricted Vande Bharat flights due to illegal allotment and charging fare for ''repatriation''. Clearly Indian govt. knows this is a workaround the strict no-fly rules imposed on the Indian airspace.
As you will read in the IIK article below, every passenger now has to be approved by Embassy of India and written NOCs'' provided by State govt. and Indian Embassy to the carrier.
It remains to be seen when the next approved flight takes off.
