After days of waiting, first flight left to India from Kuwait today

After a long wait of more than three weeks, the flight to India resumed from Kuwait international airport today with the first flight carrying 322 Indians stranded here to Delhi.

The flight, arranged by Al Tayer group and Luxury Travels, left to Delhi today at 10:00 am from Kuwait international airport.

The flight service from Kuwait to India was suspended for several days. On last Sunday, Al Tayer group had announced that they would resume their flights to India from Tuesday. The first flight left to Delhi with 322 passengers. The group is already scheduled their flights to Vijayawada, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Cochin in coming days.

"We are very happy to inform that as promised, our first flight to Delhi left Kuwait Airport today at 10:00 am. We will be arranging more flights to India in coming days," Mr Fahad, CEO of Al Tayer group told.

A Jazeera Airways flight also left to Vijayawada today carrying 162 passengers.

However, as of now, there are no scheduled flights to bring the passengers from India to Kuwait.

@PRebello,

Listen Ma''am, no disrespect to you, but just because you''ve got a better grasp of the English language doesn''t make you any superior, it makes you further away from your own land. The fact that you use terms of hate speech such as "your Malayali brain", just goes to show how behind you are with your mentality.

No south Indian is stopping you from developing your state; we''re smart opportunists, we make the best of our situations and if you do feel your state is backward in comparison, that is an issue for your state''s decision making and development ideals, go talk to your ambassadors and ministers about it ;)

All I''m saying is at the end of the day, when a person from the other country sees us, he thinks to himself, "yeesh another one of those cheap, low-class Indians", and that''s the truth. We are from the same country, and we''re on the same boat. The pandemic hasn''t been easy on anyone but taking it out on your brothers and sisters from the south isn''t going to make it any better.

P.S.: If we all had to swim back to our states, we''d probably make it, we''re very talented in that way, ey.

@AK
Nice of you to assume my gender. You malabaris are quick to grab benefits from other other people in the name of 4 international airports and largest state population in Gulf; and when other states get chance, you want equality ???
Re. swimming, it appears your malayali brain cannot grasp sarcasm.
So let me spell it out for you.... If you are in hurry to reach Kerala and there are not flights, you can swim to Kerala :)
Where is the enjoyment :)
Now you people have malayali ambassador, why don''t you ask him to help you people? Maybe he can use his swiss connections to arrange flights via switzerland, no?

High time to start flights from India to Kuwait.
Are return flights going empty ? Thousands losing jobs, businesses which is indirectly affecting Kuwait too at large.
Humble request to start flight from India to Kuwait.
If lakhs of expatriates will be leaving Kuwait, let thousands enter for the benefit of all.
