The first ever Afro-Asian Soccer Fiesta will be held in Kuwait on 30th and 31st of August 2024 at the Public Authority for Youth and Sports Stadium in Fahaheel Souk Sabah.

24 leading teams from Kuwait will participate in this tournament, organisers said in a press briefing. The matches will start at 5:00 pm on Friday and will continue till 10:30 pm. The quarter, semi and final matches will be held on the second day, Saturday.

All teams are from Kuwait and the payers are all Kuwait residents. This include, few African clubs based in Kuwait, teams from Kuwait, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Srilanka, Egypt, Ghana, and African teams, organisers said. National and state players along with foreign players will participate in the tournament, organisers added. Ample facilities are provided for the spectators.

The tournament is jointly organized by Hala Events and Sporty Asia, a leading football academy in Kuwait. The main sponsor of the soccer tournament is Mango Hyper and the medical partner is City Clinic. Takara Restaurant, Sulaimani and Sabka Restaurant are also collaborating with the fair.
