An Entire evening, programmed for prize distribution by eminent dignitaries.

The Marvelous evening started with the National Anthem… A feel of good self .. to be proud as an Indian. A warm welcome is followed by Mr. Hassan Koya President Kala(Art) Kuwait, supported by Mr. Mukesh, V.P. The guests of the day, the judges and the advisory Board members thanked the parents for their tireless contribution for cherishing their children for making the event successful. They also said that they have the pride of having served this 9 years to develop the art and culture among the INDIAN kids.

The Executive Committee of Kala(Art) Kuwait, is a prominent Socio- cultural Organization conducted a special day for children Prize Distribution Ceremony for Niram 2013 powered by Wataniya Telecom on 29th November 2013 at 2.30 pm at Indian Community School, Khaitan.

Children’s day is celebrated to mark the birthday of our beloved Late Chacha Nehru. It is also called as BalaDiwas, to honor the childhood of every child. Jawaharlal Motilal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of India made this special contribution to the welfare of the children. He was a prolific writer,a charismatic leader, a successful statesman and the architect of modern India. He was the spokesman of non-aligned countries like Africa and Asia, served as ambassador of world peace.

Pandit Nehru, is fond of children and roses . He believed that today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders.

Nehru’s mission is continued by KALA ART KUWAIT - that dedicated themselves to promote the art and culture among children of all age groups . They organized the NIRAM-2013 a painting Competition on Friday 8th November 2013 at Indian Community School, Khaitan.

Niram – 2013 made the children to express their feelings and dreams in the form of picture through paintings and sculptures . Here Kala Kuwait took the privilege to appreciate the interest shown by teachers and parents who part took in exhibiting the talent of their wards. There was also a open canvas painting contest for the parents to take part. Parents felt the pleasure amidst all pressures - To refresh their long forgotten skills to bring it to highlight through Niram 2013.. They were also appreciated for their work of art with prizes which they received with tears in exchange..as glitters of joy we could pronounce them.

With Awe- Inspiring Parents, 2415 children swarmed Inside the campus of Indian community school to participate in the competition. The Judges made their striving contribution in analysis each picture to its varied topic provided to the children to bring out their hidden talents and encourage them to inspire for great things ahead in store for their energy fusion to take place.

The Speech made by the artist Mr. Sasikrshnan, gave tips of how they scrutinized the pictures drawn by students of varied states. Their vision differed according to their imagination says he.. . He said that they took into consideration the facts such as color combination, space utility, flow of creation, logic and beauty of art - as aspects of critical evaluation. He also commented that every picture drawn by each individual students was an art which to him was like the poems of kabir, kannadas, shakespare , etc

What interested me the most is the topic provided for various groups and the creation that each of the prize winners undertook so hard to display. I only had the opportunity to see the winning pictures as I could not attend the competition day. Hence I have taken few pictures of interests along with the topic for your review.

Fruits for LKG TO I std STUDENTS

Butterflies in my Garden for II std to IV std

Wild Life for V to VIII std

Train Journey for VIII to XII std

Clay modeling – Your Favorite cartoon VII to XII std

Children from various schools in kuwait participated and even obtained the prizes.

When I entered the auditorium I could hardly find 3 families along with me and people were working on the stage doing decorations, and few making arrangements for the prizes, lighting person busy taking care and photographers, and media people making their work busy. As time progressed the hall was overcrowded to find no place for few who found difficult to stand but the honour of the prize made them feel energetic through out the programme.

The speech was followed by the prize distribution. There were 6- I st prizes, 7- IInd prizes, and 10- III rd prizes .. 55- merit prizes, and 172 – Consolidation prizes. There were mementos to the judges and to the compeers of the programme who has conducted the programme in an interesting manner.

The Special day was renounced by two kids singing full song in a professional manner , of which one was from LKG and the other from 2nd std was the highlight this proves that age is not a criteria for talent. Everyone enjoyed the evening..

The Photosession continued to make the prize owners hold the pride and take home the laurels to make their parents hard dripped sweat smell the fragrance of ability of their ward. The vote of thanks, by Mr. Sadik, Treasurer, Kala(Art) Kuwait, ended the programme with small refreshment provided to all..

It was - A dedicated programme to stay in memory, a glance of which makes one never to miss any chance next time, and the winners to promise to leap ahead the chance.. such an entreating programme to take home the honour of KALA(Art) KUWAIT . Thanks to one and all of Kala(Art) Kuwait for celebrating truly the spirit of children’s day.. for the children , by the children and to the children… great way ahead to go…… all the very best to Kala(Art) Kuwait… and friends hope you will never miss an opportunity ahead .. for opportunity knocks the door only once….take care utilize the chances to get your Success.. which is assured with every hardwork you make….
