74 expatriates deported last year for traffic violations

The General Traffic Department (GTD) at the Interior Ministry deported 74 expatriates in 2024 for committing serious traffic violations, reports local daily Al-Seyassah.

These violations include over speeding, running a red light and reckless driving.

Meanwhile, the department reiterated that the new Traffic Law will take effect on April 22 calling on motorists to adhere to traffic rules and avoid violations.
