The tragic crash of Air India Flight 171, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad on June 12, 2025, has indeed left the world in mourning specially every Indian. The plane, carrying 242 passengers and crew—many of whom were aspiring individuals seeking better opportunities or reuniting with loved ones in Europe, crashed into a medical college hostel, killing all but one passenger and at least 29 people on the ground. This disaster, the first fatal crash involving a 787 Dreamliner since its introduction in 2011 major player in the aviation industry, has raised profound questions about aviation safety, engineering, and even the metaphysical forces that govern flight

This a unique tragedy wondered and raised many questions in everyone’s mind, how a worlds reputed brand of airliner which is carrying millions of passengers on daily basis could not lift and develop thrust it needed to fly and keep it in the air, The action which is purely based on simple Newtonian principle which says for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction could not respond to an action leading to a Aerodynamic failure of carrier. A question pondered on me how the air could not hold the plane? is there anything other than that who controls? being a student of Quran I came across a beautiful verse 16:79 which answered my question says

“Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allah. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe.”

I came to know that despite advanced technology it limits the human mastery; this tragedy underscores that flight remains relies on aligning with natural laws—whether in engine thrust, structural integrity, or environmental conditions. The crash forces humility reminds us that even the most sophisticated machines are subject to unforeseen failures.

In sum, while Newtonian physics and aerodynamics explain the mechanics of flight, but the Quranic verse (16:79) elevates the discourse, reminding us that ultimate control lies beyond human hands. This tragedy is a call to harmonize technological progress with reverence and attachment to the unseen forces that sustain life and controls every day’s matter all aspects of human being, we as simply a unit of human being should check the daily life, is it aligned with the requirements of almighty gods teachings? , are we beneficial to human being as an obedient servant to the god?.

do we as part of society regularly examine your actions, intentions, and thoughts to ensure they align with God’s commandments like love, justice, peace, humility, and righteousness our regular Prayers and seeking guidance and God’s wisdom through prayers, regularly fastening our action as per scripture and sincere supplications and. ask for clarity and guidance in fulfilling his purpose? A question remains every time and no doubt such incidents awaken us and reminds us what should be our path in life to please god
