Kuwait Odisha Association (KOA), a socio-cultural organization registered with Indian embassy, Kuwait (INDEMB/KUW/ASSN/84), conducted Annual General Election on 29th May 2025 at KOA Office, Abbasiya for the year 2025-26 under the presiding election officer Mr. Sunil Panigrahi, to elect new office bearers to serve the community voluntarily.
Outgoing President Mr. Umesh Chandra Panda thanked all members for their love, support, and contribution during his tenure. He opined that we should all be serving the Society in any manner to the best of his/her capability.
The new team of executive body members under the leadership of Mr. Sunil Panigrahi as President comprises of several female members maintaining the Legacy of KOA. The other executive team members are:

Incoming President Mr. Sunil Panigrahi expressed great pleasure and happiness on the confidence and belief placed on the new team. He praised the previous team for their immense good work and accomplishments during their tenure. He stressed that we are one big family, everyone’s contribution towards the growth of the association is all that matters. The team will live up to expectations reposed by all members and help nurture KOA to achieve greater heights of social standing.
The first executive body meeting was held on 2nd June 2025 in the presence of Advisors, outgoing executive members, and newly elected members to share their vision for the upcoming year to prepare a proactive action plan not only to improve and add more cultural activities.
Advisory Board members and outgoing executive members made important suggestions to improve the functioning of the association. The emphasis was to be open to new ideas, maintain effective communication and improve networking.
To conclude, all members present congratulated the new team and wished them Lord’s blessing and assured everyone’s cooperation for achieving higher levels of success.
