FAIPS-DPS celebrated its academic excellence by honouring the meritorious students of Grades 5, 6, 7, along with those following the British Curriculum, for the academic year 2024-25. These students were honoured with the prestigious scholar badges and certificates on 21st May 2025.The spectacular ceremony, held at the school auditorium, was graced by the presence of the distinguished Chief Guest, Ms. Delphine Vallier, Principal of International British School, Kuwait.
The day’s events unfolded with a reverential salutation to Kuwait, followed by the Kuwait National Anthem, the recitation of the Holy Quran and its translation. The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, then led the Chief Guest on to the stage for the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing enlightenment and the dispelling of ignorance. The lamp was lighted in the presence of the Vice Principals, Head Mistresses and the coordinators of Grades V, VI, VII and the British Curriculum.
Sara Mohammed and Anvay Bansal, the Head Girl and Head Boy of the Middle School Student Council then extended a formal welcome to the Chief Guest and the other members of the audience. The Principal, Mr Ravi Ayanoli then addressed the gathering, lauding the remarkable academic achievements of the scholars and appreciating the guidance, encouragement and unwavering support of their teachers and parents.


The cultural events that followed, showcased the myriad talents of the FAIPS students and added a distinct sparkle to the day’s proceedings. A soul stirring rendition of Michael Jackson’s ‘Will You be There?’ by the talented choir echoed the need for compassion and unwavering support in today’s world. The auditorium came alive with the graceful movements and sweeping gestures of the dancers who displayed exuberant joy with the classic elegance and beauty of a Japanese dance. A thunderous round of applause greeted the ‘Kalari’ dance, which is inspired by an ancient Indian martial art form, from Kerala, celebrating women’s empowerment, transporting one to a realm of myth and legends.


The Chief Guest, Ms. Delphine Vallier, enlightened the audience with her words of wisdom and expressed her admiration and appreciation for the talent and hard work of the staff and the students. Finally, the much-awaited moment had arrived for the scholars, who had worked relentlessly to reach the pinnacle of success. The recipients proudly walked up on stage to receive their badges of excellence and certificates from the Chief Guest, Principal, Vice Principals and coordinators.
The beautiful morning came to a close as Alizah Qumar and Swajit Biswas, Vice Head Girl and Vice Head Boy of the Middle School Student Council, delivered the vote of thanks and expressed their whole-hearted gratitude to the Chief Guest, Principal, management, faculty, parents, support staff and students for their selfless efforts in making the day a truly memorable experience.
